Scipion and Hortense

The British ships I finished recently need something to shoot at, so here they are: the French Scipion (74) and Hortense (40). I think I'm starting to get the hang of the rigging, although the ratlines and shrouds still do my head in.

Now that I have four ships completed, I'm going to start trying out the available rules, with 'Kiss Me Hardy' being the first.

  2. Absolutely Lovely Mate - I could do with some like that! :-) Really keen to hear how you find KMH and I hope you'll give Langton's SCAFP a go and report too - going through the same process here in Auckland - I'm gonna add a link to your posts - absolutely fantastic pics... 3. P.S. I hope you don't mind that I've used a lower-res part of one of your images for a post on my blog to link to you...?

  4. Excellent job on the Langton's - they are wonderful models to build but can be challenging and one does need to be in the right "mood" to attempt rigging. That said, they do look wonderful on the table top.

I've been using the "Trafalgar" ruleset, which I find OK - I'm very interested in hearing your thoughts on "KMH"

Your base work is also top notch - well done!
